The S.A.R. Winchester Chapter and Warren Heritage Society will be commemorating Veterans Day this Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Hidden Springs Senior Living. We will have the color guard present and retire the colors. Larry Johnson of the S.A.R. Winchester Chapter will provide an invocation and benediction, along with a presentation of what life was like in WWII for a 7 year old boy. Patrick Farris of the Warren Heritage Society will speak on life on the home front in WWII. There will be artifacts from WWII on display. The Veterans will be given certificates of appreciation from the S.A.R. to show we remember them and the sacrifices they made to serve their country. We will recognize the ladies who were spouses of Veterans. Veterans of World World II and their spouses are invited to attend.
