Frequently Asked Questions
Senior living is a broad term that refers to residential communities designed to support older adults with personalized care, safety, and social engagement. These communities offer varying levels of support depending on each resident’s needs—from independent living to assisted living and memory care.
Hidden Springs offers three levels of care which include Assisted Living, Advanced and Memory Care.
It might be time to consider senior living when home maintenance, cooking, or managing daily tasks starts to feel like a burden. At Hidden Springs Senior Living, we have many residents who move in simply to enjoy a simpler lifestyle with no more yardwork, house cleaning, or worrying about what’s for dinner. Residents can live independently, with support available when needed. As care needs change, help is available to assist more with daily activities or specialized memory care in a safe, secure environment.
Assisted living communities like Hidden Springs offer just the right balance of support and independence. Residents receive the care they need while enjoying an active, engaging lifestyle.
Common services in assisted living may include:
- Medication management
- Housekeeping
- Daily meals
- Transportation
- Laundry services
- Scheduled activities and social events
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, or grooming
Hidden Springs is a private pay community. That means residents typically use personal resources to cover the cost of care, such as:
- Savings or pension income
- Retirement accounts (e.g., IRAs or 401(k)s)
- Proceeds from the sale of a home
- Long-term care insurance
- Income from investments
Each month, our Business Office sends an invoice for living expenses. Payment is due upon receipt, and most residents have a designated Power of Attorney who handles payment on their behalf, usually by check or electronic funds transfer. Some residents also have long-term care insurance policies. These policies, purchased through private insurers, may begin to cover care costs once certain medical or care needs are met.
Assisted living offers support with daily tasks while promoting independence, social engagement, and quality of life. Nursing homes provide 24-hour medical care for individuals with more serious health needs, including ventilator support, feeding tubes, and advanced wound care.
We offer a wide variety of activities designed to keep residents active, engaged, and connected including fitness classes, arts and crafts, game nights, live entertainment, outings, educational workshops, and social events. There's something for everyone to enjoy.

Hidden Springs is a private pay community, which means Medicaid is not accepted, and Medicare does not cover room and board or daily care costs. However, Medicare can help cover doctor visits and some medical services, just like it would at home. If you have a long-term care insurance policy, it may help reimburse some expenses depending on your level of care needed. Many families find these benefits helpful, and we’re happy to assist you in navigating the insurance process to make things easier.
Visitors are always welcome at Hidden Springs, and we encourage family and friends to visit as often as they like. To ensure the safety and comfort of all residents, we kindly ask visitors to follow simple guidelines such as signing in upon arrival, respecting quiet hours, and observing any health or safety protocols, especially during flu season. Residents are asked to follow community policies designed to create a respectful, safe, and supportive atmosphere. These include guidelines on health care routines and participation in community life, all of which are clearly explained during the move-in process.
