About Us
The Davison Family
Since 2008, Hidden Springs Senior Living has been owned and operated by Daryl and Vicki Davison, along with their son, Aron. With more than 40 years of combined experience in healthcare, education, and leadership, the Davison's have built a strong foundation of stability, integrity, and resident-centered care.
The Davison's are deeply invested in the community, with lifelong ties to the Shenandoah Valley. Having grown up and raised a family in the area, they bring a personal understanding of the region's values, culture, and close-knit spirit.
Their connection to the community is more than geographic, it is generational and emotional. These local roots give them a strong understanding of the unique challenges families face when making decisions about senior care. They know that these decisions are not only practical but deeply personal, often shaped by financial concerns, family dynamics, and the desire to honor the wishes of loved ones.
Their perspective guides a compassionate and responsive approach while supporting residents and their families through complex and often difficult choices with honesty, empathy, and respect.

Kim Chen
Director of Nursing
I am Kim Chen, LPN and Director of Nursing at HSSL. I wanted to be a nurse just like my grandmother. I have five immediate family members who are nurses, so I guess you could say nursing runs in our blood. Following graduation from Fairfax County School of Practical Nursing. I started my career at Fairfax Hospital (before it was INOVA). There I worked Post-Surgery, Post-Trauma, and Post-Partum, and for a short while, I worked in a couple of skilled nursing homes in Northern Virginia.
For the next seventeen years, I worked the GI Unit of UVA in Charlottesville VA. Approximately ten years ago, I moved to Warren County, and before coming to HSSL, I took a job in a local physician’s office. At HSSL, I started as a Nursing Supervisor before taking the Director of Nursing position. I feel blessed to bring all my knowledge and experience to HSSL. The elderly is where my heart is; it is my calling. Also, I have two wonderful grown children who I enjoy spending time with.
